Community living

What are the expectations around noise?
Please avoid noise that interferes with another person’s peaceful enjoyment of their lot or common property. This also applies to guests and invitees.
Can I keep a pet?
Written Body Corporate approval is required before bringing or keeping an animal in a lot or on common property. Please contact the appropriate Body Corporate channel before making arrangements.
Can I change the outside appearance of my lot?
External changes generally require written Body Corporate approval. This includes changes visible from another lot, common property or outside the scheme. The full by-laws set out exceptions and requirements.
How do I make a Body Corporate complaint or application?
Under the by-laws, complaints or applications to the Body Corporate or Committee must be made in writing to the Secretary or Body Corporate Manager.

Gym & BBQ Area

Who can use the gym and when?
The gym is for owners and authorised tenants, not guests. It may be used from 6:00am to 9:00pm daily. Contact the building manager about access-key arrangements and any deposit requirement.
What are the gym rules?
Wear enclosed footwear and a shirt, use a clean dry towel on equipment and mats, return equipment after use, and turn off lights and fans and lock the gym when leaving. Water is permitted; other food and drinks are not.
When can I use the BBQ Area?
The BBQ Area must not be used between 9:00pm and 8:00am. Please leave the BBQ and surrounding area clean and tidy after use, and avoid behaviour that causes nuisance or damage.
Can guests use the BBQ Area?
Guests and invitees must be accompanied by their host owner while using the BBQ Area.

Parking & waste

Where can visitors park?
Visitors must use the designated visitor car parks. Visitor parking is for visitors only and is limited to six hours per day. Do not park on internal roadways.
What is the speed limit inside AcaciaFields?
The internal-roadway speed limit is 5 km/h, or walking pace. Public road rules also apply.
How should bins and rubbish be handled?
Keep bins in your garage, rear courtyard or nominated refuse point, put them out on collection day, and return them to your lot the same day in a clean and hygienic condition. Do not leave rubbish on common property.
